Going for over 37 years and stronger than ever!  
One of the most popular folk bands in Scotland returns to the Medway Library. They entertain with guitars, mandolin, fiddle, bouzouki, bodrhan, banjo and great vocals featuring tremendous three part harmonies. They have received Gold and Silver Disc awards from the Scottish Music Industry Association and regularly have sold out shows at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and around the world! in the Makerspace

Our resident artist, Trudi, will show us how to use oil paints to create a Bob Ross Style painting. 
A light snack will be served and there may also be a few other fun surprises.  
Open to adults 18 and older.

Do you just need motivation to finish that project that has been sitting around for months (maybe years)?
Do you just want to try a new skill?
Stop by the Makerspace at the library on Monday nights. 

We will meet every Monday night except during school vacations.
Bring your own supplies or use what is in the Makerspace.

Arduino Coding & Robotics

Monday nights 6:30-8:30pm in the Makerspace

 Children will be taught some basic concepts of C programming and build a vehicle designed to accomplish tasks such as picking up blocks, popping balloons, navigating a race track.
The goal is to instill a strong foundation in the proper techniques of coding and designing.  
Vehicles are operated using bluetooth technology.

Last year children learned to solder, use breadboards, and design & print 3D parts.

Open to students 10 to 16 years old.
Registration is required. 

class size is limited to 6 participants

Makerspace Waiver and Room Agreement forms must be completed by a legal guardian prior to the workshop. Forms are available at the Circulation desk

enjoy photography.

Open to amateurs, beginners and professionals
who share a passion for photography.
The goal of the monthly meeting is to promote enjoyment and proficiency in all aspects of photography through
mutual exchange of knowledge and experience.

September photo challenge: Framing

Use elements of a scene to create a frame within a frame. Shoot through a doorway,
pulled back curtains, branches, fences, tunnels or
arches to highlight your subject.

Join us at the meeting to share and discuss our photos.

will be available to help you with technical questions regarding the equipment in the Makerspace!

They can assist with:
- converting 8mm/Super 8 film to DVD  
- transfering VHS TO DVD
- scanning/digitizing slides and photos
- transfering digital camera movies to DVD/USB
