Drop-In Baby & Toddler Jam: Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, 11-11:30 AM. Newborns - 3 year-olds are invited to this weekly drop-in program of stories, fingerplay and songs accompanied by mountain dulcimer. No registration necessary. Children must be accompanied by parent/caregiver.
It's Story Time! Thursday and Friday mornings, 11:00-11:30 AM. Ages 10 months-5 years.* Our children's librarian Mariah will hold a drop-in (no registration necessary) story time with songs, stories, and a simple craft. All children must be accompanied by a caregiver. * These ages are flexible! If you think your children will enjoy story time, please bring them.
Paws to Read: (Registration required) Monthly on the first Wednesday,6:00 to 7:00 PM.
What's better than curling up with a good book? Cuddling up with a "Paws to Read" Therapy Dog and a good book! Children (grades 2-6) are invited to come and meet some of these special dogs at our Library once a month and have a good time. Each child is given a specific 15-minute time slot for a "one on one" with his or her favorite reading dog.Children must be able to read by themselves. This is not a tutoring program, but rather an opportunity for a child to practice reading skills with an attentive listener. Contact Lucy Anderson 508-533-3217 for more information and to sign up.
LEGO Club: (Registration required) One Wednesday a month.
