Medway Public Library Children's Services

Welcome to the Medway Public Library Children’s Services!

Our mission in Children’s Services is to build a worthwhile collection of books and other materials specifically for children, ages 0-12; to provide excellent programming specifically for children and families; and to be a center of learning.

The Children’s Room, located near the Main Circulation Desk, is a space for children, ages 0-12, to play, read, and learn at the library with adult supervision. While we encourage all patrons to use the materials in the Children’s Room, the space itself is reserved for kids and their parents.

1000 Books before Kindergarten Kickoff Party!
Saturday, March 23rd, 10AM -1PM

FEATURING Music and Movement at 10:30 with Deb’s Sing and Swing
Ages 0-5. Register HERE or Drop In.

Medway Library is partnering with Walpole CFCE to provide this enriching program. Sign up your little ones and log all the books you read (even the repeats!) to reach the goal. Listening to stories is one of the best ways to get ready to learn to read! Each child will receive a brand new book, information about the program, a list of book suggestions, and a very special notebook to keep track of your progress. Crafts and activities will be available throughout the day as well!
You can also contact Miss Lucy to sign up any time after the event. This will be an ongoing program, with rolling registration, and incentives to be earned along the way.

This program is funded in part through the Walpole CFCE Program, through the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care’s Coordinated Family and Community Engagement Grant and the Medway Public Library.
